One of the least used keys on the keyboard is the PrintScreen key, simply because most people don't know how to use it.
The key does exactly what it says - it takes a snapshot of your monitor screen and saves it onto your computer's clipboard. You can paste the image into MS Word, or just about any other Windows application.
Another option is to save the image directly as a JPEG file. To do this, open Microsoft Paint (Start - Programs - Accessories) and paste (Ctrl-V) the snapshop into Paint. Then save the file as a JPEG (File - Save As). This will give you a much smaller file size, and allow you to crop, rotate or manipulate the image.
